The legend of the Fairy Morgana, in the Valley of No Return, half-sister of King Arthur, who would have cast a spell on her lover and all of Va, then delivered by Lancelot of the Lake.
This enchanted forest is said to be home to druids and elves, where Merlin’s tomb is located in a clearing guarded by oak trees. The grove of trees would conceal many treasures including the Holy Grail and the sword Excalibur of King Arthur.
In legend, a Cornish knight named Merlin is resting in his clearing when he is visited by an old woman and her three daughters who protect Merlin while they sleep. The old woman promises that one day she will return and take one of the girls to be her daughter, while giving her an enchanted ring. One of the girls wakes up and finds herself in the clearing, but she never returns.
