If you like water sports and swimming, you won’t want to leave Lac au Duc!
The Club nautique Ploëmel Brocéliande offers a wide range of water sports on the shores of the lake: Windsurfing, catamaran, water skiing, canoeing, stand-up paddle or even a buoy. The opportunity to discover new activities and have a great time on the lake. The water sports club also has a handi-sailing section to make sailing accessible to everyone.
Lac au Duc also invites you to relax. The large white sandy beach and calm waters are ideal for sunbathing, swimming or building sandcastles.
The bathing area is fenced off and divided into 2 supervised areas so that everyone can swim undisturbed and have fun, whether they are beginners or experienced swimmers.
A tour around Lac au Duc on foot or by bike
It would be a shame to go to Lac au Duc without taking a walk or bike ride around the lake.

Sports enthusiasts can circle the lake on a 15 km hiking trail. Whether on foot, on foot, by bike or on inline skates – everyone has their own rhythm!
The greenway(the V3) overlooking the lake is also ideal for cyclists and allows you to connect Brocéliande on a well-maintained and safe path.
During your walk around the lake, you may be lucky enough to see an otter, frogs or deer. The lake, which is fed by the River Yvel, is surrounded by rich natural landscapes in wetlands that are home to the flora and fauna of Brittany Sud.
A paradise for anglers
A remarkable mirror carp weighing 21 kilograms! This is the impressive record catch recorded at Lac au Duc. It is therefore not surprising that the lake is a favourite spot for fishing enthusiasts in Morbihan
If you love the sensations of bait or live fish, come and tease the numerous predatory fish that abound in the lake, such as zander, perch, black bass or pike. The lake is also home to a very large population of white fish such as roach, rudd, tench, bleak and carp. Some areas of the lake are also authorised for night carp.
It is therefore almost impossible to leave empty-handed from Lac au Duc, which according to experts is the best place for spin fishing in France. It is therefore not surprising that this place is internationally renowned for its fish-rich waters.
